The craft beer industry is exploding with Michigan ranked 5th in the nation for the number of craft breweries. There is a need for locally grown and malted barley to make beer and only one commercial malt house in Michigan.

With an existing farm and a love of craft beer, we can provide local breweries with the malted grain they need to differentiate their products in the marketplace..

WHY IS MY IDEA BETTER THAN THE REST
We are the only malt house in Michigan the both grows and malts grain. Doing so allows us to control three key factors, 1. The growing and malting process, 2. The product quality and 3. The price of our ingredients.

THE SKY’S THE LIMIT
Refining our malting equipment prototype. We are currently running test batches in preparation for malting our first crop of winter barley. It was planted in the fall of 2015 and will be harvested in the summer of 2016.
