MY “AHA” MOMENT
We began working with accelerated orthodontic products five years ago, but realized the frustrations that limited help. We started helping providers globally online, and realized there is a business that could work.
THE BIG IDEA
Orthodontics is a complicated procedure for general dentists, unlike other aspects of dentistry such as crowns, fillings, and extractions. Typically, orthodontics were limited to the orthodontists; but, with the invention of Invisalign, the world of orthodontics was opened for general dentistry. Within five years, general dentists began to see that clear aligner technology (Invisalign) was limited to certain cases. It also had to rely on patient compliance, which often was poor and led to poor results. Accelerated orthodontics with Fastbraces, 6-month Smiles, and Delta brackets helped with the compliance issues, but did not provide the dentists with step-by-step instructions like clear aligners. Our product gives step-by-step analysis to help the general dentist with accelerated orthodontics. This would provide an additional revenue to the general practice.
WHY MY IDEAS IS BETTER THAN THE REST
Our idea works well, as we know the industry of general dentistry, understand the competition, and would be filling in a niche that is not addressed.
THE SKY’S THE LIMIT
Funds will be spent manufacturing our modified bracket, finding a manufacturer and developing marketing. We have current contacts within the UK market, European Union and Australia, as well as large mailing contacts within the US.
