Dozens of industrial sites across Michigan are getting money from the state as part of the Michigan Build Ready Sites program, including sites in Northern and Mid-Michigan.
The program is aimed at boosting the number of available properties ready to attract businesses.
Overall, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation is awarding $3.3 million to 45 sites across the state.
The Middle Michigan Development Corporation is getting $100,000 for the CMU Research Center.
That money will go toward a site evaluation and fiber optic installation.
The city of Cadillac is also getting $100,000 to survey, design and assess utilities at the Potvin Industrial Park.
