Taking the leap of faith into the entrepreneurial world is no easy feat, and Courtney Jerome knew that in order to turn her dreams into a reality, she was going to have to hustle. After years of working in the television and magazine industries, Jerome decided to start her own business. With hard work, dedication and sweat equity, she created Courtney Jerome Media LLC in October 2017. It began as a one-woman show, and
Jerome was running her business from her home.

As her company began to grow, Jerome saw the need for her services in the Mt. Pleasant area. In January 2019, she joined as Professional CoWork member at CMURC. This membership gave Jerome access to CMURC’s network of small businesses and entrepreneurs, as well as an office space that she could utilize once a week. After a few months, she added an intern to her team from Central Michigan University to keep up with bettering the business community.

“The connections I’ve made and relationships I’ve built in the last year have helped me create a presence in the community,” said Jerome, “Being a part of this entrepreneurial network has allowed me to pursue my passion and expand into the heart of Mt. Pleasant.”

Local businesses and entrepreneurs connected with Jerome for her valuable media services, such as video storytelling, social media posts and digital marketing. Combined with office space and access to CMURC’s network, Jerome created the ideal environment for her business to thrive and expand.

“Our goal is to help entrepreneurs establish a solid business foundation and to expand into the community,” said President + CEO Erin Strang, “Courtney Jerome Media LLC has proven to provide a valuable service with established customers that has her positioned for success throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region.”

Courtney Jerome Media LLC is located downtown at 110 E Broadway St., Suite D. To view her services, visit https://www.courtneyjeromemedia.com/.
