The right bra for: AA to I cups engaging in high impact workouts
Shefit bras deliver an appealing combination of glitz, glam, and function. When I first laid eyes on the seamless Ultimate Flex, I felt like I was bestowed the “Rihanna of sports bras.” The company describes the Flex as “buttery soft,” which might be a little exaggeration, but not by much—this bra has the most custom-feeling fit I’ve ever tried.
Just cinch and secure the band for a customizable fit.
It’s hard to overstate just how wonderful the Velcro-like hook-and-loop closure is. We’ve scorned the closure on running shoes, where it doesn’t deliver as secure a fit as laces. But Shefit deserves credit for making it work—and doing it in a cool, glam package.
At first, you feel like you’re wearing a lifejacket when you put on the Ultimate Flex, which fastens and zips in the front. But then you cinch the straps and torso band (so much easier than fumbling with fasteners), and suddenly you’re channeling Jenny from the Block on your tempo run. If you’re wearing a racerback top, the straps can be switched from H- to X-back. Cup sizes range from AA to I, and the bra allows you to change the strap and band lengths by up to 8 inches. The bra fastens and zippers in the front.
Verdict: You Can Sweat With Support—and Style
The Ultimate Flex is activewear eye-candy, and will keep your breasts from bouncing on your run. The bra comes in blush and black, with gold detail on the band and back. Depending on the length or intensity of your workout, you may want to adjust the bra’s fit to reduce rubbing or chafing. Otherwise, rest assured, your girls are secure and your runner outfit is on point.
