Central Michigan University Research Corporation (CMURC) has named Letisha Randle as its Entrepreneur of the Year. Randle has exhibited her entrepreneurial spirit through her efforts in founding multiple businesses throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region. She has demonstrated her leadership in advancing diversity and workforce development within the electrical construction industry while also contributing to the growth of high-impact local businesses in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
“Our mission extends beyond business success; we are committed to leaving a lasting legacy that empowers future entrepreneurs, fosters innovation, and promotes leadership in industries where representation is needed most,” said Founder and CEO of PRH Group Letisha Randle.
In 2024, Randle made great strides for one of her companies, PRH Group, based in Saginaw Michigan. PRH Group increased its workforce to 65 full-time and part-time employees, creating new job opportunities and providing training and mentorship to those looking to build careers in the skilled trades.
PRH has leveraged valuable business development resources to scale its impact and create pathways for aspiring professionals. Under Randle’s leadership, the company has grown into a trusted name in electrical construction. Since founding PRH, she has significantly expanded the business, securing five major utility contracts in 2024 and advancing diversity and inclusion in a historically underrepresented sector. Her leadership has not only driven regional economic growth but has also created opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds to enter and thrive in the skilled trades.
“Letisha and her team at PRH exemplify the kind of entrepreneurial spirit that we need to drive economic growth and community development,” said CMURC President + CEO Erin Strang. “Beyond her work at PRH, she is a true catalyst in creating an entrepreneurial and innovative culture in the Great Lakes Bay Region.”
With strategic plans, resiliency, drive and passion to bring impactful education to not only the electrical construction industry, but to the community with L&V Properties, I Heart Mac and Cheese, Bloom & Blaze, and HR Properties. PRH Group has helped bring CMURC one step closer to creating a community in which people invest their lives – a key driver to economic development.
Randle will be honored as CMURC’s Entrepreneur of the Year at Impact Day on April 9, 2025. The recognition will take place during a networking breakfast at this full-day event, which brings together entrepreneurs, small business owners, and professionals. Presented by Lake Trust Credit Union, Impact Day features expert-led panels, valuable networking opportunities, and free coworking, all designed to support business growth and innovation in the region.
